Good morning, it's March Two, Two Thousand Twenty Six! And it's a Monday! Here in Portland, Oregon. It's six forty-seven in the morning and I'm looking out over the city right now and there's light coming through the clouds over the east hills, pink and gold catching the edges. and the river down below is picking up a little of that color. Partly cloudy. Very still right now. Forty-three degrees Fahrenheit, around six Celsius. Today I was thinking about Roy Orbison and his song Blue Bayou. Nineteen sixty-three. Just a beautiful, beautiful song. This afternoon we should get up to around fifty-eight Fahrenheit about fourteen Celsius, and it looks like we'll get some nice breaks in those clouds with golden sunshine coming through all along the way. Now yesterday I was out for a walk and I saw something that just stopped me right there on the sidewalk. Golden daffodils. Already blooming. On March the first! Can you believe that? And I stood there looking at them and the light was hitting them just right and they were glowing, truly glowing, like little suns that had decided to come up out of the ground. And that tells you something about the way things are turning right now. Everyone have a great day.
